Cake Smash & Tub Time
Some of the new backgrounds available for cake smash sessions this year
How to prepare for your Cake Smash Photo Session. . .
A cake smash photo session is a fun, joyful way to commemorate the milestone of your little one’s first birthday.
Capture your baby’s surprise, curiosity and delight as they tear into their cake.
A cake smash is a great way to express your baby’s unique personality in a relaxed and carefree way.
It would be great to have tried a bit of messy play before hand, so many toddlers aren't used to being messy !
What to expect?
I start with a short portrait session, so feel free to bring a smart set of clothes along.
We then change & introduce the cake.
You can choose to have a professionally baked giant cup cake at an additional charge of £30.00.
You are also free to bring your own cake!
If your child has any allergies I recommend you bring in your own cake.
When to schedule?
You can book as far in advance as you like, this ensures you get a slot close to your little persons 1st birthday.
What to bring?
A smart set of clothes.
A change of clothes for the both of you, as the icing can quite literally get everywhere.
A few of your child’s favourite toys may also be a good idea too for comforting and distracting them at the beginning of the session.
A towel to dry off after tub time.
A drink - its thirsty work eating cake :)
What to wear?
I have a couple of tutu outfits & frilly pants for the cake smash, but a pair of jeans would be great for boys.
Feel free to dress and accessorize your child however you please. If you're looking for something special and unique, Let me know.
Please remember that their clothing will often end up covered in icing so don’t dress them in something that you would be upset if it got ruined.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to call or email me and I will be happy to help you in anyway
to make sure that your child’s “Cake Smash” photos are something that you’ll cherish forever.
